Program Selection
Students in select grades have the opportunity to choose either the Mozart Performing Arts Program or the Momentum Fitness Program. Each program provides a comprehensive study of the content grade level standards and application of skill-based outcomes. Either choice will provide students with the opportunity to attend General Music and Physical Education at least once a week.
Momentum PE Program
The Momentum Fitness Program is an opportunity for students to focus on health, fitness, and sport-focused skills. Fitness testing, along with the momentum fitness activities are paired with sport education. Students will learn teamwork, healthy choices, and physical activities for pursuing a lifetime of healthy habits.
Mozart Music Program
The Mozart Performing Arts Program is an opportunity for students to focus on creativity, ensemble, and performance skills. Instrumental and vocal music are explored through games, movement, composition, and music appreciation. Students will learn teamwork, self-discipline and performance techniques.
Students who select the Mozart Performing Arts Program may be asked to provide their own instrument. Please see your student’s music teacher for information regarding instrument rental or purchase.
